Behavioral Rules
1.Greet all Freeperson's with Master/Mistress, if the gender cannotbe determined by the nick, use Master till corrected. Apologize profusely, and then make note.
2.While Freeperson's are NOT always right, they are by defination,NEVER Wrong, therefore slave's do not argue with a Freeperson, they have the last two words in any disagreement ...those being "Yes Master".
3.Slaves have no rights, you have nothing not given you by an Owner. Your name is not your own, it can be changed at any time. Any items given to you by an Owner, can just as easily be taken from you, if you are entrusted to carry the name of an Owner, silks, jewlery, guard them carefully and with your life.
4.The merest whim of your Owner is your highest law. The collar entrusted to you carries the honor of your Owner, you and you alone, can make it as light or as heavy as you wish it to be.
5.Jealousy and possessiveness of one's owner has killed more slaves than disobedience. Your Owner's actions are unquestionable.
6.Slaves are forbidden to message any Master/Mistress in any channel without first seeking permission in the open channel. Failure to do so could result in the slave being whipped.
7.Slaves who "entice" with slave heat, should be prepared to act upon such actions. Slave heat should NOT be used unless the slave truly wishes to "entice" the Master/Mistress. If you show it, be prepared to use it.
8.Slave's are not permitted to enter into the conversation's of the Freeperson's ... if you wish to converse with your sister's do so in msg's .... do not discuss URTHLY (everyday) issues on GOR, in an open channel.
9.Slaves are not to touch any form of weaponry... this even includes a kitchen knife... slaves are not allowed to touch coins...each of these items can carry the penalty of death for a slave.
10.Slaves are slave's on all nets and channels, to be caught as a Freeperson, or under a nick, or uncollared under another nick, could result in death for a slave, or at bare mininum.. branded a traitor(ess) to Gor.
11.Slaves are to be pleasing at all times, there is no room for PMS, or bad moods. If your not up to being pleasing, do not enter the channels. Excellence and perfection in a slave is the goal, only that will be tolerated.
12.Slaves are to speak in the 3rd person speech. Slaves do not have the words "I", "me" or "mine" in their vocabulary.
13.Popups and macros are to be avoided.
14.Since a slave cannot serve more than one Master at any single moment, the slave may not be in more than one channel at any given time. And the slave shall not engage in any other activities while serving a Master (i.e, msgs to others)
15.Entry to provide service or to observe is open to all and do not require explicit permission.
16.Departure from the channel requires EXPLICIT PERMISSION.
17.During the course of serving, slaves are required to pay full attention to the task at hand, thus the slave SHOULD NOT have the time to greet any person entering. Appropriate greetings can be done after the slave has been released from the task at hand.
18.The usage of explicit and graphic words (i.e, slave heat) may be used, but the slave must be aware of their meanings and intentions that may be provoked the use of those words. Be prepare to accept the consequences.
19.Be aware that even though the Camp has basic rules of operations, slaves should be aware of any additional rules that may exist in the camp they are visiting, it is recommended that other slaves be ask as to the nature and rules of that channel. BE CAUTIOUS.
20.No slaves are required to accompany a FreePerson into the Alcoves with the exception of her/his owner.
21.No slaves can be forced to accept a collar that the slave does not freely take ***WARNING** once collared, removing it is at the discretion of the owner only. In the event that an Owner can no longer be present and the slave wishes the removal of the collar, the slave must ask a council member (Ops) to petition the council for action. NOTE: an abandoned slave, by definition, is one who has had NO communication with the owner for a period of no less than 4 weeks.
22.Slaves are not allowed to handle any device or instrument that can be construed as a weapon. Slaves are never allowed to handle money. (in the event that she is offered coins to take to her Owner, the free person offering the coin should place it in the mouth of the slave to carry)
23.The "white silks" are just that, reserved for the Owner of the slave. White silk slaves may serve food and drinks, converse to free persons from their knees, and any other restrictions that the owner choose to place upon the slave. The integrity of white silks will be maintained and upheld by all free persons. White silks must be indicated by the "w" at the end of their collar or stated so in their actions or whois.
24.Red silks exists in 2 forms. Owner�s red silks , who�s sexual pleasure are reserved only for the Owner. There are also "true" red silks, whose pleasure may be enjoyed by any free person with expressed consent by the slave.
25.A slave, uncollared, may be disciplined by any free person. A collared slave may only be disciplined by the Owner. If the slave becomes disruptive, they may be taken to task (spoken to by Ops), and the slave is required to make their Owner aware of such events. In the event that their Owner cannot be made aware of such events (i.e, vacation and such), the Ops may administer fit discipline and will notify the Owner of the slave of the infraction via email or memoserve.
26.Only two types of collars are recognized by the Camp; personal collar and tavern/hall/Inn , or camp collar.
27.In the event that the Owner of the slave is to be absent, the Owner can assign a protector during the absence. (This means that uncollared slaves cannot have such protectors)
28.Slaves are required to obtain permission prior to messaging free persons, slaves may banter at will in msg�s to any other slaves. The exception to this is, requests for help from slaves to Ops.
29.It is a good idea to express concern in open channel to Ops and/or other free persons in the event that a slave feels threatened or harassed by any person.
30.Tal is a greeting between free persons, slaves should used greetings or other appropriate means to greet.
31.Ops is reserved for freepersons, however since most cities have bots, a few trusted slaves may petition the bots for removal of disruptive guests. After the event the slave is required to notify Ops with logs concerning the matter.
32.Slaves may not be founder of public cities, however they may be founders of their kennels.
33.Slaves who are not bounded to the collar may change nicks, but **Warning** abuse of this privilege may cause problems for the slave and possible ban from the Tavern
Camp Rules
1.Permission is always needed to enter a Gorean Channel, and permission to leave is always required.
Permission is also needed to go AFK (away from keyboard) but if your going to be longer than just a minute or two, it is best to ask to leave the channel. If a slave is unsure as to whether permission to enter is needed, please msg a sister already on the channel, and ask.
(Examples of permission requests:: Master's may a girl/boy have permission to go AFK please? ::: Master's may a girl/boy have permission to leave the tavern/inn please?)
If a slave is granted permission to go AFK, the nick of the slave should reflect such ... ie: spirit-AFK. If a slave is in the alcove,the nick of the slave should also reflect such ... ie: spirit-ALC. This helps the channel OPs to know the whereabouts of the slave. It offers the slave the greatest protection.
2.Popups and Macro's are forbidden in most channels. It is to the slave's advantage to continually type out your service, leaves room for creativity, charm and wit, which are rewarded in the end.
3.Slaves cannot serve more than one Owner at a time, therefore a slave cannot be in more than ONE channel at a time. Greeting new arrivals while serving a Freeperson is also forbidden. Finish your serving, then greet the new arrivals accordingly. Remember the Freeperson is your top priority.
4.Slaves cannot be forced into any alcove ... nor can a slave be forced into a collar... if a slave feels overwhelmed by a Freeperson's advances contact a channel Operative ..that is what they are they for, or post the problem to the channel.
5.Fidgeting and laziness are not pleasing. Idle slaves are not pleasing. If your not serving a Freeperson busy yourself with cooking, cleaning, or speak to your sisters in msg's and learn more of GOR.
6.In regards to slave heat, new slaves to GOR or to the tavern/inn should NOT use "slave heat" in their serves. Learn the channel rules regarding such by observation or speaking to the other slaves in the channel if in doubt. IF a slave choses to use "slave heat" in their service to a Freeperson then be prepared to use it as a slave.
7.Visiting other Tavern/Inn's carries the weight and risk of those places... be cautious.
8.Slaves are to be pleasing at all times. Your life on GOR depends greatly on it. The slave should always be in good spirits and ready to serve upon demand.
9.Slaves think before reacting to any situation. What occurs in the Tavern/Inn is between Freepersons. It concerns no slave, unless the slave has been found displeasing.
10.GOR is NOT fair. GOR is NOT just.
General Rules
1.Uncollared slaves are at the mercy and whim of any Freeperson. A uncollared slave may be punished or whipped by anyone for any reason, or simply because a Freeperson can. Collared slaves, have the protection of their collar and their indiscretion is reported to their Owner for his/her action.
2.White Silk slaves are allowed to serve food and drink and have conversation from their knee's. No laps or alcoves are permitted them. White Silk does not mean virginal. Collared Slaves whose owner's put them in White Silk are protected under the restrictions given them by their Silks and the Owner. No Freeperson, with honor, will cross the restrictions of the White Silk.
There are two types of Red Silk Slaves::
"Collared Red Silk" -
The slave is a pleasure slave, trained in serving, dance and sexual pleasures. The slave is reserved soley for the use of the Owner.
"True Red Silk" -
"True Red Silk" - Same as above, could be collared or uncollared but the slave's sexual pleasures are allowed use by any Freeperson. Sometimes payment is made to the Owner for the use of the slave. If an uncollared slave claims "red silk", the slave should be prepared to be used as "red silk."
3.Slaves may not be forced a collar. No Freeperson may place upon the neck of a slave a collar that the slave does not want. A slave upon finding a Freeperson, to whom they wish to bear the collar, must beg for the collar in open channel. A Gorean Collar is for a lifetime, be sure you know the Freeperson to whose collar the slave is taking. Uncollared slaves should NOT be in a hurry to be collared. Take your time, get to know all Freepersons.
Once a slave has begged the collar, the Freeperson has two choices. They may either collar the slave or slay the slave. BE SURE you know the Freeperson before begging/accepting any collar.
Once the slave is collared, the new Owner, may or may not, at the discretion of the Owner, whip the newly collared slave. This is not for punishment, or any wrongs done. This is simply because the Freeperson can. Some may call it an instructional whipping, to show the slave who is Owner, who is slave. These whippings may be in an open channel or in private.
4.Uncollared slave's may not be forced into an alcove for sexual favors. The slave does have the right to say "no". If the Freeperson insists, contact a channel OP. Collared slave's may not be taken to an alcove, unless it is by their Owner, or the Owner has permitted such activities. Before entering an alcove with a Freeperson, make sure the slave knows the Freeperson.
5.In some Tavern/Inn's slave heat must be used in service, or the slave is punished. If a slave is uncomfortable about the use of such, then do not enter the channel. If a slave is unsure about the policy of the Tavern/Inn, in regards to slave heat, then contact a channel OP of that channel. They will be more than willing to aid you. In somechannels (mostly training channels) slave heat is forbidden, in other's it is the up to the slave to determine the use. Be Cautious. Know yourself and the Freeperson your serving before using slave heat.
6.Serving in a Tavern/Inn may be sexy, subtle, and humorous, but may not be overly erotic. Use discretion in the slave's descriptions. The channels are not brothels, do not show more than what is necessary to be pleasing and fun for the slave.
7.Since slaves are not permitted to touch money, occassionally a Freeperson will give the slave a coin for services rendered, or payment to the Tavern/Inn for the Freeperson's account. Should this happen, inform the Freeperson that you may not touch money, ask that the Freeperson place the coin(s) in a pouch around the slave's neck, or waist. If the slave's Owner or a Tavern/Inn Keeper, to which payment is to be rendered, is present, then the slave should open their mouth, and extend their tongue. The Freeperson will place the coin(s) upon the slave's tongue and the slave will deliver such coin(s) to the proper Freeperson in that manner. Again, opening the mouth and extending the tongue for the Freeperson to remove the coin(s). If coin(s) are tossed at a slave LET THEM fall.
